After years of living in a traditional Center City townhome, clients had a desire to simplify and try something new. They found just what they were looking for in Bloc23, a modular apartment building that was constructed off site and assembled in pieces on location. While working with the angles of the space was a (welcome) challenge, our artist client’s desire for bold accents of color and natural materials was an easy ask! Colorful bespoke rugs and furnishings contrast with the stark white of custom painted ash millwork, while reclaimed hemlock cladding, a detail seen throughout the two-story space, adds warmth and texture. The city view definitely sealed the deal!
