Task: Revive a classic Bucks County stone farmhouse as a charming yet sophisticated weekend retreat seamlessly blending original features such as hand-hewn beams with a new kitchen and baths, elevating all the house's rooms to a level of refinement it has never seen before.

The kitchen has been extended with additional banks of cabinetry that wrap into the living and dining rooms. In the living room, the wall of millwork surrounding the fireplace is all new but feels like it has always been in place. Upstairs we reconfigured the floorplan to create a primary suite including a spa-like bath.  Textiles, wallpapers, and rugs were all chosen with a nod to the traditional but always bold modern takes on the classics that enliven and add freshness to each room's colors and patterns.
