A modestly sized one-bedroom condo in a landmark Old City Philadelphia loft building has become an elegant high-performance guest-suite/work-from-home office for our clients whose primary residence is in the same neighborhood.  The loft has been fitted with a full kitchen, laundry, loads of built-in storage, and even a wood-burning fireplace: every inch works overtime adding to the functionality of the spaces.

Iconic 20th-century furniture and lighting mingle with a built-in desk and an intimate seating area in the living room. We collaborated with gallerist Rick Snyderman to add artwork that completes the spaces while complementing art the client already owned.   The result is a stylish and highly functional pied-à-terre balancing comfort, utility, and timeless design.
